Crime Stoppers has teamed with East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore to apprehend "Deadbeat Parents".  Crime Stoppers will pay cash rewards for the information that leads to the arrest of parents who have felony warrants and have failed to appear and pay the child support they owe. Parents with past-due amounts exceeding $15,000 also will face criminal prosecution in addition to possible jail time for judicial contempt. Crime Stoppers is working in conjunction with District Attorney Hillar Moore, Sheriff Sid Gautreaux, and East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Court Judges Kathleen Richey and Pamela Taylor Johnson.
