On February 2, 2012, at approximately 00:41 hours, Demond Sanford and two other victims were driving separate vehicles in the 1000 block of Central Road. An unknown vehicle approached the victims and the unknown occupants began to fire shots at the victims. The gunfire struck all three victims and Sanford was found shot inside a vehicle that ended up in the 9700 block of Chinn Dr. The unknown suspect fled the scene in the unknown vehicle.
