10/11/2017 - CRIME STOPPERS SEEKING INFORMATION ON EAST FELICIANA HOMICIDESSOLVED

      

Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward up to $5,000 for that information which will lead to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for the homicide of Brad DeFranceschi which occurred Monday October 9, 2017 at 6897 La. 63 in East Feliciana Parish, homicide of Carroll Breeden which occurred September 19, 2017, and the homicide of Thomas Bass which occurred July 8, 2017 on LA. 960 in East Feliciana Parish

An additional and independent reward up to  $15,000 is also being offered by private citizens for that information which will lead to the arrest and indictment(s) of the person or persons responsible for the July 8, 2017 shooting of Thomas Bass, September 12, 2017 homicide of Buck Hornsby, and October 9, 2017 homicide of Brad DeFranceschi.

Do you recognize any of these three women?  The East Baton Rouge Sheriff`s Office is attempting to identify them. The trio used a fraudulent credit card at the Walmart on College Drive to buy gift cards in the amount of $6,059.73. Later that day, it was reported that the women went to the Cortana Walmart and made more fraudulent purchases in the amount of $10,500.

7/13/2017 - ASSUMPTION PARISH SHERIFF`S OFFICE SEARCHING FOR ESCAPED INMATECAPTURED

Calvin Weatherford Jr. escaped from the Assumption Parish Jail early Wednesday morning.  Weatherford is a 32 year old white male; he is 6 feet tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.  He was last seen wearing a white shirt, orange pants with black and yellow tennis shoes.

7/10/2017 - Deputies in E. Feliciana Parish Searching for Homicide Suspect

The East Feliciana Sheriff`s Office is investigating the homicide of a 61 year old male Thomas Bass. Bass was shot and killed outside of his home on Hwy. 960 near Clinton on Saturday, July 8th.

The Denham Springs City Police Department? is seeking the public`s help in identifying this person. The male pictured is suspected of using multiple fraudulent credit cards to purchase $3,000 worth of retail merchandise.

1/24/2017 - SHOOTING SUSPECT WANTEDAPPREHENDED

The Baton Rouge Police Department Homicide Detectives are attempting to identify the suspect in the attached photographs, who is accused of shooting an individual on January 20, 2017 around 11:30am in the 1700 block of N.23rd Street.

Investigators believe that the shooting was a result of an altercation between the suspect and the victim.

The 35-year-old male victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, and remains in critical condition.

12/14/2016 - PLANK RD SHOOTING

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify the suspect in the attached photograph who is accused of shooting an individual... in the parking lot of the Circle K, 7997 Plank Road, on December 4, 2016 around 2:15am.

Detectives believe that the suspect followed the victim out of the business and began firing shots, striking him in the back. The 32-year-old male victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There are no known motives at this time.

11/17/2016 - Chase Bank Robbery

ROBBERY OF CHASE BANK

Baton Rouge Police Armed Robbery detectives are attempting to identify the individual in these photos who is responsible for the 1st Degree Robbery of Chase Bank, 7515 Perkins Rd.  A black male suspect entered into the Albertson’s bank around 12:25pm demanding money.

The suspect is in his early 30’s, athletic build, wearing a black and gold polo style shirt and a black and gold Saints cap.  The suspect fled the scene in a full sized, 4-door, white pickup truck with an undisclosed amount of money.

10/12/2016 - CHASE BANK ROBBERY

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify the individual in the attached photograph who is accused of robbing the Chase Bank, 7474 Florida Blvd, today around 9:00am.

The suspect entered the business and approached the teller window with a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the business on foot in the northern direction.

The suspect is identified as a black male, 40-50 years old, 6’1-6’2” wearing an orange shirt with blue jeans.

9/7/2016 - TEXACO STATION ROBBERY

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify the individual in the attached photograph who is accused of robbing the Texaco Station, 2382 N. Lobdell Blvd., on August 7, 2016 around 5:00am.

The suspect approached the front counter of the business with merchandise posing as a customer.  As the employee was completing the sale, the suspect reached across the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the register and then ran out of the business.

The suspect is described as a black male possibly mid-20’s, 5’10”-5’11”, 140-150 pounds wearing a cap, denim vest with white t-shirt and tan shorts.

8/10/2016 - Dollar General Armed Robbery

East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office Detectives are looking for a black male that committed an Armed Robbery at the Dollar General located at 16557 S. Harrell’s Ferry Road at approximately 9:41pm.

According to reports, an unknown male had entered the store walking around the counter towards the office before confronting the manager. The manager was holding a cash drawer as she was attempting to place the drawer into the safe before being confronted by the suspect who was armed with a silver and black pistol. The suspect stated “Give it to me” three times at which time victim held the cash drawer as the suspect removed the money from the drawer. The suspect then demanded more money at which time the victim opened the break room door leading into the office. After unlocking the office door the suspect grabbed the deposit money from the desk before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as husky built broad shoulders. It was believed that the suspect was between mid-20 to mid-30 in age.

8/2/2016 - ROBBERY SUSPECT WANTED

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating an armed robbery of the Circle K, 5305 Government Street that occurred today around 2:45am.

The male suspect in the attached photograph approached the front counter with merchandise posing as a customer. During the transaction the suspect pulled a gun from his waistband and demanded money from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, he grabbed the merchandise from the counter and exited the business. The suspect was last seen in a silver mid-size sport utility vehicle.

APSO SEEKING INFORMATION ON A STOLEN TRAILER

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen trailer that was taken on Thursday, July 28. Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Coontrap Road in Gonzales in reference to a 2007 Continental cargo box trailer being stolen.

The trailer is black in color and only has rear door access. The trailer is also missing both fenders and has the logo “Southern Flow” on both sides of the trailer and on the rear of the trailer. The license plate is L089514 and the trailer contained over $100,000 worth of technician equipment and motorcycles, according to Major Kevin Hanna.
